giants

riding shmidt's one-hitter, the giants take two of three from the red sox and still sit a game and a half behind the hated dodgers going into their four game series starting tomorrow. on shmidt, of course i love the results, but 133 pitches seems a tad high for the giants only good starter. the guy has already been on the dl. how about some kid gloves here?
